Song of the Day

Today’s Song of the Day is brought to you by Nils Frahm. If this feels like a deja vu, that’s because I’ve already featured Nils on a previous SOTD. I’ll be featuring him more often leading up to April 3rd. I’m seeing him live at the Danforth Music Hall that evening. I’m both excited and nervous about it.

Here’s why.

Nils’s music tends to hit me on my solar plexus. His music literally affects me on a gut level. There’s something about his solo piano pieces that run so deep and melancholy for me. I could cue up a few of songs and spend the whole time sobbing.

So, without further ado, here’s his song from his album Spaces, entitled “Went Missing.”

Try not to cry. I dare you.
